Sussex EcoNet - An Ecological Network for Sussex The Sussex Environment Partnership (SEP) is working on a pilot project with a local planning authority, to incorporate an ecological network approach into supplementary planning within Local Development Frameworks. It is hoped that through policies in local plans and planning conditions on individual applications, both on-site and off-site gains for the ecological network can be achieved. The Sussex Wildlife Trust has now produced a promotional leaflet with the SEP and some detailed guidance, on what a Sussex EcoNet may look like. Contact from decision makers and planners on any aspect of this issue is welcome. To obtain a copy of the leaflet please contact the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
